Course of a learner
Upon arrival at CFN, Jessie-Lee worked part-time, a few hours a week, as a Customer Support Worker. She came to the center to improve her French with Francophone clients. Having decided to change careers to work with the Canadian Armed Forces, she had to pass the aptitude test (TAFC) in order to qualify. To succeed, Jessie-Lee needed help with math. Once the test was successful, she received an offer to start a job and training in the kitchen at the military base. She participated in training in the field of culinary arts offered by the Canadian Armed Forces. She also did a training camp with the Forces to be able to pass the last stage of her hiring. Most recently, Jessie-Lee decided to continue her studies in social work and enroll in Nipissing University. At the same time, she continues to train French with the CFN so that she can continue to better serve the clientele.

"The Near North Palliative Care Network (NNPCN) is the Hospice of Visits for the Nipissing and East Parry Sound community.
